My name is Dusko Pavasovic. I’m 38 years old and I live in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
I am a chess Grandmaster and was a chess professional for more then 10 years. I was also a chess teacher and helped several world class players on their way to the top.
Chess community has a lot of good poker players and people working in poker business. So I was approached by a member of PokerStars staff with a proposal to localize PS Website and software in Slovenia which I accepted. After a couple of years working for PS, I decided to start analyzing the game in more depth. Beeing a chess player, I never had a problem with working habbits nor with discipline, so I improved quickly. My poker career started 9 years ago with full ring NL games, slowly switched to 6 max and ended up with HU. I never had huge swings so my climb to the high stakes was quick and smooth.
I am now a regular at NL1000 – 5000 HU and 6-max games and am doing very well.
